Our Mission
North Point Kids: Our heart is to help kids experience God’s unconditional love by showing them that God is inviting them into a relationship where they can connect, serve, and grow.
North Point Kids
A staffed nursery is available during both services, and North Point Kids (age-appropriate classes) is available for Pre K-5th grades during both services. Our volunteers lead their classes through lessons and crafts that help kids grow in grace and knowledge of the Lord (2 Peter 3:18).
When you enter the building, check in at the North Point Kids Check In (Just past the welcome counter) to get name tags for each child and a secure check-out label for parents.
On 5th Sundays, North Point Kids is postponed so that families can worship together during our Family Celebration.
Awana
Northern Hills Awana is for kids 4 years old through 5th grade. We gather each Wednesday evening from 6:15pm-7:30pm.
Each night, age-specific clubs lead kids through Game Time, Large Group Time, and Small Group Time. Qualified leaders build relationships with kids, teach them the Gospel, and help them memorize Scripture.
We believe that Awana is one way to help kids in the Northern Hills connect with God, serve Him with their lives, and grow as followers of Jesus. Meet Our New Awana Leader Todd Albertson
We’ve been married for 18 years and have called Spearfish home since 2016. We have two kids who are currently part of AWANA, one in Sparks and one in T&T.
We’re both very involved at North Point and have had the opportunity to serve in a variety of ways. For the past three years, I’ve had the privilege of leading AWANA Game Time. Sarah grew up in AWANA and has been serving in our North Point AWANA program for the past six years.
We’re passionate about AWANA and reaching the youth of our community. We’re excited to serve alongside Pastor Matt and the North Point family and can’t wait to see how God continues to work through this ministry!”
We’re excited to have Todd and Sarah stepping into this role and look forward to all that God has in store for AWANA this year!
