Pastor Matt Branum Lead Minister Matt Branum

Matt hails from the great state of Minnesota, growing up just north of the Twin Cities in the town of Forest Lake. Matt served in the U.S Army from 1987-1995, it was during this time that he gave his life to Christ.

Matt graduated from Minnesota Bible College, began seminary at Lincoln Christian Seminary and completed his Master’s degree at Cincinnati Bible Seminary. Matt has served on staff at churches in Minnesota and Illinois, and two Christian colleges, as well.

Matt is married to Becky a graduate of Nebraska Christian College and Registered Nurse. They have two children: Reagan and Jackson. A yellow lab and a mouthy cat as well.

What do you love most about North Point? - "Authentic people - none of us are perfect, so let's not pretend to be what we are not"

What was your first job? - "Working at my Dad's gas station."

What are your favorite books? - "Mere Christianity by C.S. Lewis, Band of Brothers by Stephan Ambrose, and Walking with God by John Eldredge."

What are some of your fondest memories? - "Growing up in the 70's, Meeting my wife, and holding my children for the first time."

What is your idea of a perfect day? - "Coffee at sunrise with God, Minnesota Twins game with my son, dinner with my wife and bedtime with my family."
