Our mission in life is to point people to Jesus.

Jesus isn't found in a bunch of rules and regulation. A relationship with Jesus should be a guilt-free experience. It doesn't have to take all the fun and excitement out of life. It happens when you get to know Him in a real, active, organic, life-changing way.

Spearfish High School AuditoriumWhen you come and visit us, expect to be comfortable. Jeans and T-shirts are the normal attire. We'll worship and pray and our lead minister, Matt, will talk for a while. Don't worry, though—we don't let him talk too long!

We'll take communion and, if you are a believer in Jesus, you're welcome to take it with us. There will be an offering for people who call North Point home; we don't expect you to give when this happens. We just want you to get to know us, to see if we're a good fit for you.

OUR STORY

The story of North Point begins with a decade of prayer. First Christian Church in Rapid City had a desire to mother a new church in the northern hills for many years. In 2002, First Christian Church partnered with the Northern Plains Evangelistic Association (NPEA) to make that dream a reality.

In January 2004, Matt Branum was called to be lead planter and pastor of North Pont Christian Church. A few months later, Ryan Charest came on staff as associate pastor. North Point was launched in September of that year.
